讲座摘要 | ABSTRACT
In this presentation, I will offer my view on what premier Information Systems journals want and how Chinese scholars can leverage their advantages to publish in such journals. I will begin by defining what I mean by research productivity. Drawing upon past research from various disciplines, I will then outline factors that affect individual research productivity. Next, I will present a view of what constitutes “good papers” in the eyes of journal editors (demand side) and what advantages Asian or Chinese scholars have (supply side) in terms of matching the demands of these editors. Finally, I will offer my view on the increasingly asked question: “What is the future of Econ IS research?”
